Let's Hang On (to what we've got)
"Jersey Boys" - the story of Frankie Valli and the Four SeasonsThis is the musical I'm watching almost everyday... and gonna continue to watch indefinitely....
Damn.... the songs frm "Jersey Boys" are stuck in my head... haha... they are wonderful songs... too much of the same thing is never good... but the songs r so fun I'm not sick of them yet... plus the cast of the musical is so wonderful (and handsome)... *sigh*
It's actually a lot more fun to watch the reaction of the audience cos alot of them grew up listening to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons... the '50s, '60s, '70s... so it's like goin down memory lane for them...
It's probably like me listening to Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys...
Today I was just discussing with my grandma that the songs frm the past is so much better than the songs nowadays... it's the same for Cantonese, Mandarin and English songs...
I feel that there are too many crappy songs out that nowadays that are just out to entertain... Perhaps the music industry today simply reflects what the society is now- shallow
Maybe that's why I'm still not sick of the songs from Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons... cos it was frin an age where people put alot more of themselves into the songs they write and the songs they sing...
