Chaotic!

Woah... today was there was a CNY parade! It was crazily chaotic! It was super crowded and what's worse we had to make our way to work in 1/2 hour... It was like being in a maze... The orange route is the usual route and it takes about 5 mins to walk to the theatre (X)

We were running madly in circles (Refer to Fig 1- purple route) around Union Square only to find that we are trapped inside... there are only 2 small openings and eventually we had to run across the pararde while it was in session... We thought we were very near the theatre so we took our own sweet time, watched a little of the parade, only to panic later! Had a good workout though... haha.. but at least nxt yr we'll know what to do...
